How the calculation works
A countdown subtracts the current timestamp from a target timestamp. Complete 24-hour days are removed first, followed by complete hours, minutes, and remaining seconds.
The calculation uses the clock and time zone configured on your device. It cannot verify that the device clock is correct, and daylight-saving changes can alter the elapsed duration between two local clock readings.
